In 1995, Marshall Errock Construction Ltd were invited by Taylor Woodrow Construction Ltd (now Vinci), to build the Tesco Superstore Development on Grangemouth Road in Falkirk. Little were we to know at the time, that this would be the catalyst for what has developed into a permanent history in Scotland, where we have now worked continually for 26+ years.

Building Schools, hospitals, Retail Parks, Prison’s, Medical Centres, and working for the elite of the industry we are proud to be part of.

Marshall Errock Construction Ltd work nationally, since inception in 1983, but our introduction into Scotland changed the dynamics of our company - for the better!

We have been the recipients of many awards over the years, recognised at The London Brick Awards as first in category. It was with a sense of pride that in 2018, PLACES FOR PEOPLE (who have in DECEMBER 2021 scooped the NATIONAL HOUSEBUILDER award for best design, too much fanfare in the national press);

Chosen from many of the industries specialist Masonry Brick and Blockwork Contractors - Marshall Errock Construction Ltd to “partner” for one of Edinburgh’s largest developments ever of its type.

Places for People having won the major accolade at the prestigious Housebuilder Awards, which celebrates the very best in UK housebuilding; has been recognised for its excellence in all aspects of the sector, including customer satisfaction, design, regeneration and sustainability.

Marshall Errock Construction Ltd have since worked alongside Places for People since 2018, delivering multiple phases of THE ENGINE YARD development, and we were therefore absolutely delighted when they appointed us – in DECEMBER 2021, to carry out the next phase of this extraordinary development;

It is fabulous news to continue working, and be chosen by a company who are described as the “Industry best” What an accolade!

Whilst the pictures that accompany this post are of the “existing façade” of The Engine Yard, what makes this project exciting is Places for People’s design team’s intention to incorporate this magnificent piece of history and architectural brickwork master-class within the structure of the new phase of apartments.

This is going to make them very unique indeed, and in doing so Places for People, together with Marshall Errock Construction Ltd, will be pushing hard to be recipients of the award of BEST IN CLASS FOR DECEMBER 2022.
