MEC are delighted to announce that we will working with GMI Construction once again on their new 411-bed student accommodation project based in Leeds. Spanning around 127,000 sq ft internally, the new project will offer students in the area 53 studios to choose from each containing a range of 4 to 8 bedroom cluster flats.
 
The building will come equipped with all the much-needed facilities such as communal areas, gym, cinema, laundry room, roof terrace with a garden and secure bicycle storage. Not only that, the ground will also feature a studio and gallery space for local artists.
 
Designed to stand out, the project will make use of 3 brick colours taking inspiration from the colours used in the surrounding architecture: Ibstock’s Grainger Antique, Grainger Autumn + Grainger Gold.
