MEC Nominated Employer of the Year | OldhamWOW what an achievement! Not only have MEC been nominated for Employer of the Year, but our final year student Reece Macfarlane has been nominated for Apprentice of the Year! He's certainly destined for big things this one!  Updated 7th February 2020. Not a bad day at the office today... MEC are immensely proud to have been nominated for Employer of the Year, having working collaboratively with Oldham College since the early 90’s in delivering apprenticeships! But recognition today of course, has to go to Reece Macfarlane ! Not only for competing at World Skills UK, but also being nominated for the Distance Travelled Award... and no that doesn’t mean because you’ve been to Edinburgh & Amsterdam Reece. Angela Raynor, Shadow Secretary of State for Education even asked him to build her a garden wall!

Will MEC Collect Enough Gold Tickets? MEC staff certainly conquered the Maze - even after a beer or two! Much fun had by all for our staff Christmas celebrations at The Crystal Maze in Manchester!
