MEC are proud to announce we will be working alongside Appledorn Developments on the brand-new Care Home + Nursery on Gateside Road in Haddington. The 3-storey care home will be comprised of 60 bedrooms split over six separate wings while also providing a salon, café and private function area for all the residents and their families to enjoy.
 
The 1-storey nursery adjoins the south side of the care home and will come equipped with modern facilities including 2 playrooms, changing facilities, kitchen, office and a quiet room to cater for up to 60 children aged 5 and below.
 
Designed to utilise and highlight the stunning features of cast stone, the new build care home will blend seamlessly into the surrounding architecture. The MEC team are excited to commence our first project with Appledown and are keen maintain our track record of delivering projects on time, on budget along with zero H+S issues on this prestigious £18 million project.
