Hi Yosra, Thanks for reading and commenting on the post. I can't honestly remember how long the pile driving took, it is the noisiest part of the process though. Construction is an integral part of Singapore these days, almost impossible to avoid. Good luck.

I came across your blog when I was trying to find some answers regarding how long the construction process, on average, takes for a 30+ storey condo development in Singapore. We have just moved into a lovely development off River Valley Rd and there is a huge construction site on the other side of the road. They have already completed the piling and first level for one of the towers but, from what I can see, they are still digging to set up the foundation for the second tower. I was wondering if you know how long the 'pile driving' part takes and if that really is the worst of the noise. I have to admit that they don't work on Sundays or after 6pm on weekdays (so far).

I have to agree with the valid questions you make in your article because I see things like you.One most important Questions to Ask a Home Inspector is transparency. Transparency is one key characteristic people tend to forget to look at when looking for the right building inspector.

The use of sustainable materials in construction is such an important topic. It's great to see builders making eco-friendly choices.
