Well after another year, the MEC team has been thoroughly looking forward putting our feet up, and gaining a few pounds over the Christmas break by doing our fair share of over eating the mince pies, and avoiding the Brussels Sprouts!
We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. with health, wealth and success for 2019!
From the MEC team
With only a few days to go until we’re on site at Nantwich, we’re eager to prove we’re as reliable on one project as we are on the other for a new client.
Not one to dawdle, the MEC estimating team has been busy discussing a potential start building a retaining wall along Travis Brow Link Road in Stockport due to start in early December. No sign of slowing down for the MEC site teams.
We’re pleased to say we’ve been awarded another project working alongside Bowmer + Kirkland on a brand new Holiday Inn Express in Barrow-in-Furness. Moreover, Metnor have awarded us the care home project in Nantwich due to start next month. It’s always a delight for a client to recognise your efforts and we’ll be sure to give our all throughout the course of the projects.
On the flipside, our site teams are finishing off the new theatre in Widnes for Whitfield + Brown ensuring quality is their top priority. We hope to be working with Whitfield + Brown again soon.
After only a short period of working together, Metnor have brought us into a meeting to discuss new projects in the pipeline, one of which being another care home, this time over in Nantwich valued at £300,000.
Ultimately, our goal is to establish + maintain a happy working relation in addition to meeting/surpassing any expectation the client may have for us which makes it especially worthwhile to welcome old clients back as well as meeting new ones.
No rest for the MEC estimating team as they’ve closed negotiations for another project in Edinburgh, this time with a new client – Allenbuild. This project is a block of apartments containing 344 new build rooms.
Not only has that, but a project closer to home also been secured in Chester for Metnor. This time, the project is a 58 Bed Care Home specialising in dementia care roughly valued at £350,000.
Here’s to a long lasting and fruitful relationship with both of our new clients.
We’ve achieved a quick turnaround for the Heriot-Watt University project in Edinburgh successfully delivering their new learning centre on spec, on time and on budget. Another job well done for the MEC site team.
