"MEC have provided an excellent brickwork service in the construction of the boundary walls on the M62 Widening Scheme.
The package was let on a Plant and Labour rate basis and MEC also provided the technical input required. They also provided the access scaffolding which was of significant benefit to the project. This was a highly technical project involving close liaison with the public and architects. The design presented several technically challenging aspects which were overcome through working together in order to satisfy all the stakeholders. Health and Safety Management was excellent with detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments accompanying their highly trained and time served labour force and site management.
As a result of this they went on to undertake contracts at Manchester Airport and Sheffield Supertram"
