January 2010 - Skanska demonstrate that their commitment to supply-chain and partnering is the "way-forward" for the Building Industry once again reward Marshall Errock Construction Ltd for our commitment to them of local employment - apprentice training matrix - environment policy and awareness - waste management policy and awareness - financial openness - considerate contracting - having the client interest at heart and a friendly approach - has paid off for. Marshall Errock Construction Ltd are delighted to be awarded the 4th Stage of the Prison Works at Glenochil, having carried out the two previous phases. An achievement we intend to continue to build on.
December 2009 - Our MD Mr Paul Errock was awarded the accreditation certification of successfully completing IOSH (The Institute of Occupational Health and Safety Certification) . This in our continual company philosophy of embracing Laing O Rourke, Skanska, Carillion, Bowmer and Kirkland, Clugston Sir Robert Mc Alpines leads in the making our working environment a safer place.
November 2009 - MEC are proud to be awarded phase 2 at Batley Sports Centre for Clugston. The Company philosophy of Clugston’s Zero RIDDOR, Contract Journal Awards, British Safety Council Awards, Customer Satisfaction, Benchmarking, Quality, Contract Control and Financial has had a major influence on making Marshall Errock Construction Ltd a better company. We are determined to improve on this.
October 2009 - MEC were awarded Sainsburys in Durham for Clugston. This is the latest of several Sainsbury projects MEC have carried out and is also repeat work from a highly regarded customer.
October 2009 - New Web Site launched.
October 2009 - Marshall Errock Construction Ltd post the company’s most successful year since inception, to year-end.
30th September 2009 - Launch the re-branding of the company, with new logos, and an aim to build strong and durable relationships with partnerships agreements with all clients moving forward.
Sept 2009 – Mr Paul Errock is presently working towards I.O.S.H. safety management qualification.
August 2009 – Skanska awarded MEC the 3rd stage of Glenochill prison work is to start in November 2009.
August 2009 – Following Marshall Errock Constructions good working relationship with Clugston Construction on the West Denton Superstore Clugston awarded MEC the Brickwork/Blockwork package for Phase 1 of the Batley Sports and Tennis Club.
July 2009 – Miss Kelly Swann MEC Assistant Quantity Surveyor successfully finished her first year at John Moore’s University doing a degree in Quantity Surveying, she finished with a 1st in Construction and Property, 2.1 in Maths, 2.1 in Construction Technology, 2.1 Construction Law and a 1st in Environmental Science.
July 2009 – Miss Jasmine Summers MEC Trainee Buyer/Estimator successfully finished her first year at Man Cat College doing an HNC in Construction she finished the year with 3 Distinctions and 2 merits overall.
June 2009 – Marshall Errock Construction Ltd were informed that our application for CHAS had been approved and we are now CHAS compliant and are in the process of seeking full CHAS accreditation.
January 2009 – Sir Robert McAlpine awarded MEC the Brickwork/Blockwork package for the Marie Curie Hospice at Glasgow.
December 2008 – MEC won contractor of the month award at Laing O’Rourke’s at Kinross School in Scotland this was a great achievement for MEC and since then our relationship with Laing O’Rourke as grown.
October 2008 – Following the Health Centre at West Denton Clugston awarded MEC the Brickwork/Blockwork package for West Denton Superstore in Newcastle.
July 2008 – Skanska awarded MEC the 2nd stage of Glenochill Prison following on from our good working relationship with them on the 2nd Phase.
July 2008 – Clugston awarded MEC the Brickwork/Blockwork Package for the retail Units at Dewsbury.
May 2008 – Clugston awarded MEC the Brickwork/Blockwork Package for West Denton Health Centre.

June 2008 – MEC proudly achieved COIN status at Laing O’Rourke Limited.
June 2008 – MEC awarded the Brickwork/Blockwork package at Winsford Care Village with GB Building.
November 2007 – MEC achieved the accolade of being voted No 1 in the UK at the National Awards in London in the category entered from over 400 finalists, the award was for the use of Alderidge smooth red brick in the highly desirable Quayside Lofts Developments in the Newcastle –on- Tyne area. September 2007 – Sir Robert McAlpine awarded MEC with the Brickwork/Blockwork package for Kenton Comprehensive School in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
May 2007 – Marshall Errock Constructions senior site staff carried out and successfully completed their first Aid and was awarded certificates.
February 2007 - 100% Platinum CSCS site Manager Card Accreditation and 100% First Aid course for all MEC Site Managers. 100% PASMA compliant.
February 2007 – MEC completed a 7 school project for Skanska in Edinburgh that ran concurrent, we employed 140 Bricklayers at peak and this went successfully and resulted in follow on work for Skanska. The schools are as follows –

April 2006 – Further to being reinstated with Skanska MEC was awarded the Brickwork/Blockwork package for the first stage at Glenochill Prison, Scotland (Houseblock), this was the start of a five year project.
January 2005 - Achieved 100% CSCS compliance for entire site workforce.

September 2004 – Mr Paul Errock returned to the helm of Marshall Errock Construction Ltd with the assistance of Mr Nigel Swann (Construction Director) and commenced re-building the company’s reputation.
1998 – 2004 – For this period the status and fortunes of MEC Ltd suffered as Mr Paul Errock was hospitalised on several occasions and he remained ill for prolonged periods.
December 1998 – Sadly Mr Paul Errock took seriously ill.
October 1997 – Marshall Errock Construction received a letter of thanks for our efforts and contributions in the construction of the Reebok stadium from the chairman of Bolton Wanderers football club.

December 1990 - Gary Marshall departs Marshall Errock Construction Ltd. Mr Paul Errock becomes sole owner, and Managing Director.
August 1990 – Marshall Errock Construction was incorporated as a Limited Company.
July 1990 - Commenced trading with John Sisk & Son’s at their Princess St Project in Manchester.
May 1990 - Laing O Rourke (Formerly John Laing Ltd award MEC The Avant Hotel in Oldham). With the exception of period 1998 – 2004, Laing O Rourke remain one of Marshall Errock Construction Ltd’ most prestigious clients.
April 1989 – Marshall Errock Construction undertook our first project with GB Building (formerly Gleeson’s), this was for the Brickwork on Hope Hospital.
June 1988 – MEC Commenced trading with Bowmer and Kirkland and since this day have had an excellent trading relationship with them and carried out various projects to date.
May 1987 - North Midland Construction awarded Marshall Errock Construction Ltd three projects; Blackburn Meadows and two projects at Stocksbridge Power Station.
June 1987 - Commenced trading with Costain at the Maternity unit at Manchester Hospital.
January 1987 – MEC achieved approved status with Balfour Beatties and carried out an average of 1 project per annum for the following 14 years.
February 1986 – Following on from the British Aerospace at Woodford MEC then commenced a 6 year project at the British Aerospace in Chadderton for Dew Group.
September 1985 – Marshall Errock commenced an 8 year maintenance project at British Aerospace at Woodford for Dew Group.
March 1984 – Marshall Errock successfully achieved approved status with Dew Group.
October 1983 – Marshall Errock Construction was founded by Paul Errock and Garry Marshall.
September 1983 - Mr Paul Errock completed 7-year course 1976 – 1983 specialising in Masonry Brick and Blockwork including a 5-year apprenticeship. Gaining ULCI Brickwork, City and Guilds Of The London Institute, Advanced City and Guilds and Technicians Certificate – 18 modules to O.T.C. Diploma.
