Target

Any construction site, whether large or small, offers ideal scope for personal injury and dangerous occurrences, making on-site health and safety a major priority within Marshall Errock Construction.

MEC attaches the greatest importance to the safety of employees and sub-contractors and will pursue policies designed to ensure that, as far as is reasonably practicable, will provide a safe and healthy working environment and safe methods of working.

Our policy cannot operate without the full consultation and co-operation of all employees. A high priority is placed on hazards prevention by management and staff working together to identify those situations which could lead to personal injury and could put colleagues at risk or other persons by rectifying these situations before accidents occur. Employees at MEC are expected to read our policy and will be expected to produce a signature as proof of understanding.

The company aim is:

1. Surpass the minimum industry standards.
2. Protect the health of all employees and those in the community.
3. Have zero injuries and environmental issues.
4. Continually challenge and improve health and safety.

Competent people will be appointed to assist us in meeting our statutory duties including, where appropriate, specialists from outside the organisation.

The co-operation of every employee is essential to ensure the compliance of all statutory duties. The successful implementation of this policy requires total commitment from all levels of employee.
