Congratulations to Adam Errock of MEC for his excellent results in their HNC Construction Module at The University of Huddersfield.

A special mention to our 2nd Year Apprentice Ross Wilson who passed his end of year exams with a distinction, a sure sign of hard work, determination, and commitment. Again highlighting Marshall Errock Construction’s unique investment in Youth Training.

Now entering our 4th year as the prestigious COIN status sub – contractor with Laing O Rourke, we are pleased to announce the award of The Perth Royal Hospital Contract to M.E.C.Ltd, A combination of new build and refurbishment works in a sterile clinical environment. To also announce to be part of 1,000,000 hours worked scheme by Laing O Rourke on their Edinburgh Schools PPP Project.

Our 9th consecutive project awarded with Laing O Rourke, which is testament to the success of the COIN partnership scheme, and its continued successful and delivery of projects – on time – on cost – incident and injury free – to the clients satisfaction – and investments to benefit the communities in promoting local employment.

A very special mention for Jasmine Summers who after two years of continuous effort at M.E.C Ltd and attendance at Mancat College in Manchester, achieved level 5 HNC which included 3 distinction passes. Well done Jasmine.

Miss Kelly Swann at MEC was awarded Quantity Surveyor of the year at Liverpool John Moores University achieving a 1st.

A special mention for our Level 2 Bricklaying apprentice Mr Ellis Hampson who on the 27th April 2010 achieved DISTINCTION grade from The Liverpool Community College Centre. In particular HSE regulations, Fire, Accident, First Aid, emergency procedures and reporting… well done Ellis!

Miss Kelly Swann MEC Assistant Quantity Surveyor successfully finished her first year at John Moore’s University doing a degree in Quantity Surveying, she finished with a 1st in Construction and Property, 2.1 in Maths, 2.1 in Construction Technology, 2.1 Construction Law and a 1st in Environmental Science.
