Marshall Errock Construction continue to form new relations with the double award of phase 1 at DePuy Synthes Centre in Leeds and the new Lidl Extension in Blackburn for Robertson Construction. October 2013

Marshall Errock Construction begin a new venture with Meldrum Construction on the new extension to Cardinal Hume Catholic School in Gateshead. They are later rewarded for their efforts in the same calendar month with the award of the new Housing Development on Clive Street, North Shields. We are delighted to be working alongside Meldrum Construction on both projects, and look forward to delivering projects both the client and community are happy with.


Following the successful start on Derker, Keepmoat reward Marshall Errock Construction with the award of the show homes at Fitton Hill. The homes with two, three and four bedrooms are close to Oldham town centre and will boast fantastic views of the countryside.

Having completed the site entrance works to James Gillespie Campus in April 2013 Marshall Errock Construction are pleased to announce the completion of the next phase. This opening will formally mark the end of phase one with the second phase seeing the existing James Gillespie Campus being completely replaced in two stages. Demolition work is now well underway on the main school to allow the construction of the new main teaching block, stage one.


September 2013

Marshall Errock Construction embark on an exciting new journey with ESH Group with the dual award of both the KFC and Aldi Store in Salford Town Centre, Manchester. It is expected that the 2,661 sq ft KFC will create up to 40 new jobs, with the 15,306 sq ft Aldi expected to generate over double that, bringing some much needed regeneration to the local area.

 Following the final stage of planning permission, work on the New Morrisons Superstore in Kirkcaldy has finally been given the go ahead. Marshall Errock Construction are pleased to announce the award of the masonry package by MSSR on the Brand New Petrol Filling Station.

Marshall Errock Construction are excited to be working alongside Keepmoat on the Derker regeneration site in Oldham. Many homes and businesses on the site were cleared eight years ago to make way for new properties. However, the plans for these new stylish, energy-efficient homes have only just been put back on track following the curtailment of the Housing Market Renewal funding in March 2011.


Marshall Errock Construction are pleased to announce the arrival of their new 17m JCB on site at Loughborough University.

Marshall Errock Construction satisfyingly complete works on the Halbeath Business Park for Tolent Construction.



Marshall Errock Construction appoint Philip Marshall as Assistant QS following the successful completion of his degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Commercial Management at Nottingham Trent University.

 Marshall Errock Construction’s 25+ years of continuous trading in various regions of Scotland promoting local employment and investment youth, has culminated in the Masonry Brick and Blockwork award of the £20 million Virus research Centre at Glasgow University by Laing O’Rourke which is scheduled for completion in June 2014.

The CVR, at the university’s Garscube Campus, will bring scientists researching viruses and viral diseases in humans and animals together under one roof. Providing the kind of facilities needed to produce top quality research in the field of human and animal diseases, from the structure of viruses themselves to their spread through animal and human populations

Marshall Errock Construction is also delighted to be working alongside Wiggett Construction on four separate housing sites in Winsford & Northwich which include x8 apartments, x8 bungalows and x6 houses.

June 2013

Congratulations to Kelly Swann on Graduating from Liverpool John Moore’s University with a 1st Class Honours degree in Quantity Surveying and achieving the Shepherd Construction award for ‘Best Final Year Student’ making it a clean sweep of awards during her time at University.

Also a special mention to Ross Wilson who not only gained his SSSTS accreditation who also gained his telescopic forklift license.

May 2013

Following the successful completion of Morrison Street Office Development in Edinburgh for Mansell Construction, Marshall Errock Construction have been rewarded for their efforts by securing follow on work on the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine at Loughborough University. We look forward to this next venture together and in establishing a long and prospering relationship.

Marshall Errock Construction’s efforts are also rewarded with the award of Halbeath Retail Park for Tolent Construction which will bring hundreds of new jobs to the area. The new units will be built adjacent to the existing site that is currently being redeveloped.

April 2013

Upon successful completion of the site entrance to James Gillespie College MEC are proud to say that they have been awarded the following phase. This is the first phase of a £42 million re-development of the campus which will include an open gallery-like entrance that will be used to display the current achievements of the pupils. This project is forecast to be complete in time for the 2015 school term.

March 2013

MEC are proud to be working alongside McLaren Construction for the first time on a £15m, 70,000 sq ft Morrison Superstore in Bedford. MEC aim to use 100% local labour and resources giving a much needed boost to the local economy.

February 2013

MEC are part of a £192 million scheme which involves the upgrade of 41 schools within Northamptonshire.

This is the largest grouped schools project ever to be undertaken in the UK. With the successful delivery of 41 schools to time, cost and quality, it is a testament to the partnership working between public and private sectors.

The projects MEC have been awarded include;

· Kingsley School
· Castle School
· Brair Hill School
· Standens Barn School

We look forward to once again working alongside Galliford Try on these projects.
