June 2017

We’ve had a good start to the Summer securing a further two projects with Towerhouse Systems + Rowlinson Construction, both in the Manchester area.

Located in Stalybridge, Armentieres Square will see the construction of 67 private rental apartments which are expected to be completed in September.

The second project, in Stockport will be building 20 new 2, 3 + 4 bedroom houses which expected to keep us busy until Christmas later this year.

Oldham Coliseum Sample Panel

Marshall Errock Construction Ltd established in Oldham since 1983 completing sample panels for the forthcoming Library Development, for the town once world-wide renowned as ‘The King of Cotton’.

The mock up is one of several ideas in regards feature courses, indents, header courses, weather struck,, recessed and jointed pointing, displaying various brick bonds and type, which are being considered whilst working in conjunction with Gilbert Ash Construction.

Crowthers Construction, another Oldham based business provided the excellent example of concrete works pictured above .

Oldham’s answer to Brad Pitt is our very own infamous bricklayer – Mr Reece McFarlane as always looking very dapper, come rain or shine, with a smile that he rarely hides.

Supervising the works was Mr Barry McFarlane, who declined to be on the photo, as he stated he does not like the attention he gets from the ladies whenever a picture of him is posted

May 2017

In recognition of our site staff’s efforts at Kelso High School, Morrison Construction has stated that due to our consistently high standards of Health + Safety, the project has been completed with 0 hours lost.

A proud moment for MEC, especially since the additional Health + Safety award from the #1 construction company in the world – Vinci earlier this year.

April 2017

Together with Tyson Construction, we have completed Mariner’s Park Care Home for seafarers consisting of one or two bedrooms, apartments + bungalows overlooking gorgeous scenery.

Showcasing traditional brick building to high standards, interfacing with steel and UPVC products to produce an attractive, modern facade – we’re excited to be working with Tyson again soon.

March 2017

Paul Errock (Managing Director) and Adam Errock (Procurement Director) sending our congratulations to Liam Welsh (Quantity Surveyor) and Oliver Errock (Assistant Buyer) in recognition of their consistent efforts, achievements, and commitment within Marshall Errock Construction Ltd and to say well done to both. Very much looking forward to working alongside Norbord on their prestigious £120M development here in beautiful Inverness.

No sign of Nessie though!

But, there is a sign of Marshall Errock Construction (Scotland) Ltd being launched later this year and we’re looking forward to forging long lasting partnerships with existing and new clients.

Finally, a Happy St Patricks Day to all.

February 2017

For a total of £700,00, we’ve been awarded two projects by Balfour Beatty and Vinci.

For Balfour Beatty, we’re building a new state of the art secondary school – South of the City School, Aberdeen – due to start on site early March. Built to facilitate over 1,300 pupils, this school will make a beautifully well crafted addition to the community.

As for Vinci, we’re excited to start working on the extension to the maternity ward at  Barrow-in-Furness’ General Hospital – also due to start in March.

January 2017

So after the season of over eating and relaxing we’ve managed to squeeze back into our uniforms and are back in the office. But we’re looking at this year as an opportunity to see if MEC can push itself and develop new business relations along the way

December 2016

Christmas is just around the corner which means we need to get into the Christmas spirit and the Christmas jumpers.
It was a close draw but without a doubt this years best Christmas jumper prize goes to MEC’s very own Liam Welsh.

Well done Liam, and well done to all the MEC staff for your hard work this year. Merry Christmas!

Leon McKenzie

Marshall Errock Construction’s proud sponsorship of a British sporting hero in both football and boxing in his latest phenomenal attempt in winning the British Super Middle-Weight Title against formidable odds.

Leon’s efforts were fantastic and MEC are very proud to have been associated with such a valiant effort.
